01. Activate monetization for your series

With YURAI, you can easily monetize your series without any prerequisite such as a specific number of followers or views. To enable monetization features, go on the "Monetization" page in our Creator Dashboard and complete the following actions:

1. Send us a "Verification Request"

Your series must be manually verified by our team to be eligible for monetization. This helps us ensure that you comply with our terms and policies.

To be able to send us a "Verification Request", you only need to create a series and publish at least one (1) episode or chapter (publication). Then, simply press the "Send verification request" button and we will receive your request immediately.

We will then analyze your series and you should receive an email informing you whether or not your series has been approved. If the series was declined, our message will tell you why and what to do to respect our terms and policies. If your series has been approved, congratulations, you can move on to the next step! :D

2. Accept additional terms and policies

Before enabling monetization, you must agree to our Monetization Terms and YURAI Plus & Creator Dashboard Privacy Policy.

As a creator who is about to monetize their work, you will have additional responsibilities, like being accurate in the descriptions of your products (memberships, digital product, etc.), respecting the confidentiality of the data of your Supporters, and others.

These documents also tell you how money is handled between the supporter (customer), YURAI (our platform) and you (the creator).

3. Connect your payout destination (Stripe Connect)

Once your series is "verified" and you have accepted the additional terms and policies, you will be able create a Stripe Connect account.

A Stripe Connect account allows you to track your sales, see your balance and your next payment date, and indicate your payout destination (eg.: connecting your bank for direct deposit).

To create and connect your Stripe Connect account, click on the "Add my Account" button on the right of the "Monetization" page.

This will open a new page inviting you to create a Stripe Connect account for YURAI.

Follow the steps on your screen to complete the creation of your Stripe Connect account. Once it is created, it will automatically be connected to YURAI. You can then activate the monetization features that interest you!
